The devil has all the good music, because that is a way to keep kids following him. But he is fighting a losing battle, Christians are starting to get really really good music these days

i dont know about really good music. some bands are okay, but you can totally hear the christianesque production. i dont know how, but within five seconds of hearing a song i can tell if it is christian or not. kinda weird. this is especially pronounced on the contemporary scene. also: think of how many chritian bands could make it ont he secular scene. not many.

I absolutely agree with the Christian production. Although I have been impressed with the last two Switchfoot albums. Especially the most recent one. I think they are a good mix of talent plus label support. Yeah, most Christian bands can't really cross over. I think of bands like Third Day and Jars of Clay... they started out with crossover hits, then they quit trying and just settled for the Christian market. But I also think that there is a lot of garbage music on the secular scene as well.
