Ron Paul 2008

I usually avoid combining religion and politics. But I have been following Ron Paul for many months now, and its starting to look like he may have a shot. Ron Paul is pro-peace and pro-life. Watch the video below to learn more about this fascinating Republican candidate.

Who isn't pro-peace? The question is how you obtain a lasting peace. Ron Paul is an isolationist, I disagree that will lead to any peace. Ron Paul also has an unsettling naivete, or in some cases just plain incorrect view of world history. Like when he said in the last debate that the US has never had an imminent threat in our entire history. Ummm, how about Pearl Harbor and 9/11??? Not to mention the foiled terrorist attacks on our soil.

Thanks for the comment. Ron Paul is not an isolationist, he is a non-interventionist. He was supportive of actions in Afghanistan because it made sense to go after those who did attack us. I think his point is that an interventionist foreign policy is what causes terrorism, therefore non-intervention would lead to peace.
